This card was issued by Somerset House Trust in 2007 and sent by Gwyn Miles, director of the trust and former surveyor of collections at the V&A, to Sir John and Lady Ritblat who subsequently donated it to the Museum. Handsomely produced in the technique of foil thermography, it depicts the front elevation of Somerset House in festive silver on white and is a fine example of the production of seasonal cards by heritage bodies to raise funds and promote their activities.
