Physical description
This full length coloured engraving shows a man dressed as a painter. He wears white tights with black shoes and a black hat with pink feather plume. Over a white ruffed shirt he wears a matching brown and black tunic and jacket with puffed sleeves and fur trim. In his left hand he holds a painter's pallet and in his right he has a paint brush. He stands next to an easel on which is a painting.
