La Fenêtre secrète, ou Une Soirée à Madrid was a 'comédie en 3 actes, mêlée de chants' by Joseph Desessarts D'Ambreville. It was first performed at the Théâtre de l'Opéra- Comique on 17th November 1818.

Physical description
This full length coloured engraving shows a woman wearing a high waisted dress with a narrow brown skirt, trimmed with hanging black tassels at the hem, over which she wears a bright yellow pelisse with a black collar, trimmed on the sleeves and at the centre front with a brown that matches the skirt of her dress. The narrow hat which she wears tilted on the side of her head is also trimmed with long brown tassels.
