An additional note in the top right hand corner states:
'Ballet de Mr Blache Père mis en Scène, A Paris, par Mr. Fréderic Blache.'
A production of Almaviva et Rosine described as a 'pantomime en 3 actes, mêlée de danses' by J.B. Blache premiered at the Theatre de la Porte Saint-Martin in Paris on 19th April 1817.
This design appears to be part of a series of prints published by Martinet, Rue du Coq, of which this example is labelled as number 451. It is part of the Harry Beard Collection.
