Le Camp de Sobieski, ou le Triomphe des femmes was a comedy in two acts which mixed spoken verse with songs. It was first performed at the Opéra-comique in Paris on 21st April 1813.

Physical description | This full length coloured engraving shows a woman standing in front of an army camp. She is dressed in an empire line gown in deep wine red trimmed with ermine at the hem and white frills at the centre front and on the sleeves. She also wears white gloves trimmed with lace and carries a lace edged handkerchief in her left hand. Her hat is black and trimmed with white and red feathers. |
