Physical description | This full length coloured engraving shows a man dressed in a heavy red doublet with bands of black. This is worn over a grey tunic trimmed with thin bands of yellow and a stiff white ruff. The doublet is belted at the waist where he also wears a sword in a yellow and black sheath. He also wears an ornate chain of office and two armour plates (greaves) on his shins. |
