La Jeunesse de Henri V, was a comedy is three acts written by M.Alexandre Duval. It was first performed at the Théâtre Français on the 9th of June 1806.

This design appears to be part of a series of prints published by Martinet, Rue du Coq, of which this example is labelled as number 242. It is part of the Harry Beard Collection.

Physical description
This full length coloured engraving shows an actress in a dress with white sleeves striped with pale grey and a dark grey skirt trimmed with a series of black bands at the hem. Over this she wears a scarlet pelisse. Her hands are at waist level, the fingers interlinked.
