Physical description | Two etchings printed in black ink on india paper. Both etchings depict scenes from a Punch & Judy show performed in a puppet theatre. In the first etching Punch is seen ringing a giant sheep bell to summon his sevant Jim Crow. In the second illustration Punch creeps up to the stage curtain behind which Jim Crow is hiding ready to hit Punch with a stick just visible to the audience. |
