This full length coloured engraving shows an actress dressed in a scarlet skirted gown with underneath a front fastening brown jacket with crimson ribbons. A fichu striped in pale blue and crimson is tucked into the neckline of her bodice. Both her arms are held in front of her, palms up and in her left she grasps a letter.
