La jolie parfumeuse ou La robe de conseiller, was a Vaudeville play in one act written by Lebrun-Tossa (1760-1837) and Bonel. It was performed at the Théâtre du Palais-Royal, Paris.

This image shows the costume worn by Dubois as Monsieur Spit. It was designed by Adrien Joly (1776-1839) and published by Martinet, rue du Coq, No.15 in 1801. It appears to be part of a series of prints published by Martinet, of which this example is labelled No. 4.

The design is part of the Harry Beard Collection.
