Print showing the curtain call at the Royal Marionette Theatre in the Adelaide Gallery, Adelaide Street, near the Strand in London. Published in The Illustrated London News, London, 17th January 1852. The theatre had opened on 12th January. The first performances were by Signor Brigaldi's marionettes in 'operas, burlesques, vaudevilles, ballets and spectacles'. The theatre had its own orchestra of musicians from Italian opera houses.

A ticket to admit three persons to the stalls at the Royal Marionette Theatre is attached to the same cutting.
