This hat, along with a jacket and skirt, were given to us by Christian Dior of 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris.

In customs papers filled out by 'Christian Dior Paris' the hat is described as beige in colour.

In the Vogue illustrations in which the above mentioned hat and skirt feature (English Vogue April 1947, p.47-50), the hat is not originally shown with the suit.
