Guillaume Tell is an opera in four acts by Gioachino Rossini to a French libretto by Etienne de Jouy and Hippolyte Bis, based on Friedrich Schiller's play Wilhelm Tell. It was first performed at the Théâtre de l'Académie Royale de Musique on 3rd August 1829.

Physical description
A full length coloured lithograph of an actor dressed in red and yellow striped doublet and tights. He also wears a gorget around his neck and a golden breastplate at his chest. A long sword hangs from his left hip and he carries a long spear in his right hand.
