A coloured lithograph of the actor Albert in the role of Francisco-Sforce in the drama Gaspardo.
The text at the top of the print indicates that it is No.65 of a series. It appears to have been connected with a production at the Ambigu Theatre.
Bouchardy's Gaspardo the Fisherman (with a preface by Gautier) was first mounted at the Théâtre de l'Ambigu-Comique on 14th January 1837, and became a huge success.
The print is part of the Harry Beard Collection.
