A coloured lithograph of the actor Melingue in the role of the Mauvais Ange in Don Juan de Marana. It is not dated. Harry Beard Collection.
Physical description
A full length coloured lithograph of an actor in the costume of a devil. He wears a dark outfit, similar in style to a very fitted doublet and hose. The upper section finishes at the top of the hips and the elbows in gathered frills of white material. A striking scarlet cape fastening over the actor's head and with two pointed horns completes the outfit.
