One of a collection of 26 theatrical lithographs. This shows two unnamed actors from the Comédie-Française in the characters of Agathe and Lucas in the 'parti de la Chasse' of Henri IV. The pair appears to playing lovers as a letter is being exchanged between them, the woman's eyes are demurely downcast as she turns slightly away from her companion. A caption below the image reads: "Mais parce qu-ous avais de l'esprit pensais vous pour ça que j'sommes des betês, nous?".
The lithographer is not named but all the lithographs appear to have been published by Robert Sayer, London (1772).
