Warp: white silk; Z2S; 28-32 threads per inch (110-122 per dm); depressed.

Weft: white cotton, possibly dyed and faded; Z4S; 2 shoots after each row of knots, but occasionally more to even out the weaving; 12-17 knots per inch (50-70 per dm), the number very variable.

Pile: silk; 10 colours: yellow, green, dark blue, blue, light blue, very light blue (faded), dark pink, pink, light brown, white; symmetrical knot tied around 2 threads; 168-272 knots per sq. inch (2750-4270 per sq. dm.).

Side finish: one cord oversewn with dark blue silk.

End finish: Lower: one row of weft twining in red and yellow, then narrow band of plain weave with white cotton and 3 rows of offset knots after a row of braiding. The fringe is 15 cm. long. Upper: as lower without the weft twining and with 4 rows of knots.

Design: Field: white ground with central white medallion created by a ring of mottled blue rays, each terminating in a small pink carnation. In the centre is a light blue rosette in a diamond on a blue vertical line which connects through 2 yellow and dark blue pendants with a small part of 2 similar medallions. The central medallion is filled with stylised flowers on blue vines. On either side of the medallion (along the sides of the field) is a mottled pink pillar with 2 horizontal mottled pink floral springs extending towards the centre.

Main border: dark pink ground with light blue double meander and large dark blue composite blossoms and smaller dark blue rosettes.

Inner and outer borders: white ground with elongated dark blue floral meander with pink and blue blossoms.

Innermost border: blue ground with light brown blossoms separated by a dark pink X-motif.

Outermost border: undecorated dark blue.
