Part of the sheet music for Quadrille on airs from La Fille du Regiment. This extract is titled Panatalon. The music was arranged by Musard and the name written beneath the illustration indicates that it was drawn by Alfred Ashley.
The front of the sheet is illustrated with a black and white illustration of an evening party in a room decorated with a central chandelier and plasterwork walls. The guests are gathered in groups, they are wearing costumes reminiscent of the fashions of the mid to late eighteenth century. The back sheet is printed with music entiteld L'Été.
