The front sheet is illustrated with a series of colour lithographs. The central illustration is a full length image of a gentleman in a brown suit, long black jacket, bowler hat and white shirt. He has his hands in his pockets. He is surrounded by three circular illustrations, each of which are captioned and feature well known personalities of the mid to late Victorian era, referred to in the song. They are General Kitchener (1850-1916), Lord Charles Beresford (1846-1919), and Lord Salisbury (1830-1903).

The back sheet has a list of Francis & Day & Hunter's 'Newest Comic Songs'. The inside cover of this sheet is printed with the lyrics for the song.
