Outer cover of the sheet music for Laughable Times (coming thro' the rhymes) composed by Charles Collins and sung by George Collins. Published by Francis, Day&Hunter, circa 1904.
The front sheet is covered with a strip of pale blue wash. There is a central illustration of a clown like figure with exaggerated grey hair, an oversizzed pale red neckcloth, white gloves and a loose grey jacket. There are two captioned illustrations on either side of the figure, one shows a curate debating with a gentleman in a grey suit and an eyeglass the other shows a waiter, his legs tangled together, whilst he franatically addresses a shocked cook.
The back sheet is printed with a list of Francis&Day's 'Successful Star Songs'.
