Outer cover of the sheet music for Marguerite. The front sheet features a large colour illustration of a scene from a photograph by L.Caldesi&Co. It shows two couples. Both the women are dressed in long gowns, whilst the men are dressed in long tights and doublets with matching cloaks and plumed hats.

The couple on the left consists of a women dressed in a pale yellow, full skirted dress matched with a rust coloured hooded cloak which obscures her face. She stands hand in hand with a gentleman dressed in scarlet doublet, tights and cloak.
The women in the foreground is dressed in a white gown decorated with strips of blue on the sleeves and at the hem and with a scarlet belt at her waist. She is clinging to a gentleman dressed in a green doublet and green and blue striped tights. Both men carry swords at their waist.

The back sheet of the cover is printed with a list of Chappell &Co's 'New and Popular Dance Music'.
