The front sheet is illustrated with an illustration of a countryside scene. A windmill stands in the background in front of which is a women in a white cap and apron, spotted bodice and a dark skirt, she is pointing towards a man in striped trousers, dark coat and top hat who is being pursued by a large dog. A small oval image in the bottom right hand corner is an image of a policeman seizing hold of a criminal in bowler hat and checked trousers. The remainder of the page features an illustration of a grim faced man in a dark suit who is standing, holding a stick above his head.

The back sheet is printed with a list of the 'Newest Comic Songs' published by Francis and Day. The inner cover of which is printed with the lyrics of the song which it describes as a 'burlesque, dramatic song' written, composed and sung by Johnny Dwyer.
