The cover illustration by H.G. Banks on this music sheet shows Arthur Forrest (1850-1908), the music hall singer, comedian and pantomime Dame, in costume for his song about going to London with his pal Brown where they got drunk and went to a music hall to sing the choruses. The vigettes include an image of Brown in a hansom cab and the angry reception they received from their wives when they eventually got home.

Arthur Forrest was one of the original members of the charitable organisation The Grand Order of Water Rats, formed in 1889.
