Vase with lid, one of a pair with 368A/1, 2-1877. Stoneware with crackled grey glaze and decoration in overglaze enamels and gilding. The surface wrought in basket pattern, profusely painted and gilt with wistaria, peonies and other flowers; on the shoulders are embossed Paulownia medallions. The lid is surmounted by two dogs or lions.
