Jun ware pear-shaped jar with a wide mouth and a low footrim. The lid is of a sunken dish-shaped form with a small central knob. Both jar and lid are covered with a rich lavender-blue glaze with whitish markings, the interior of the jar is also glazed. The footrim base is unglazed but the inside of the ring glazed. The underside of the lid is unglazed.
