Plate 20, Sylphide, Zélindor, Roi des Sylphes. The dancer is dressed in a loosely fitted white gown, ankle length which leaves the left half of her chest exposed. The dancer wears a tight blue sash around their waist and the skirt of their gown is gathered into, two loose, scallops, both decorated with a spray of green and blue flowers. Both sleeves, are loose, and finish just above the elbow, the left is part of the main structure of the gown, but the right is a separate part stretching from shoulder to upper arm. The dancer wears a garland of blue and green flowers which stretches across her chest from her right shoulder to her left hip and a circular headdress of green and blue feathers. She also wears a delicate, flower trimmed bracelet on her right wrist. Harry Beard Collection.
