Using medieval shards donated by the Museum Boymas van Beuningen, Jongerius takes the initiative in a post-modern restoration project. As a starting point she created 7 prototypes in which she glued the shards with epoxy. In 1998 two pots from this series were cast in porcelain, which resulted in solid industrial pots.
As with medieval pots, these are marked with Jongerius' thumb print.
