With her left hand she holds the edge of a delicate,decorative apron trimmed with dark ribbon on the pockets and at the edge. Her hair is dressed in loose ringlets.
Both Lise Noblet, and her sister Felecite danced at the Paris Opera in the early nineteeth century. It is not clear which of the Noblet sisters features in this print, particularly as the sisters were often depicted together. Harry Beard Collection.
