Place of origin |
This Hillman Minx complete with original box is a classic example of a Tri-ang vehicle and is based on the popular car that was manufactured from the 1930s until the 1970s. Tri-ang, a subsidiary of Lines Brothers toy manufacturers, often copied popular vehicles and reproduced them in miniature. This example is battery-operated and is quite detailed on the outside of the car. Lines Brothers were a leading British manufacturer before the war and after, until their collapse in 1971. This car complements our archive collections which holds Lines Brothers material, alongside other British toy manufacturers.
