A full length etching of Act 3, Scene 2 of The Tempestin which Stephano is being played by Mr.A.Younge and Trinculo by Mr.H.Nye. Stephano is dressed in a costume of doublet and hose inspired by Elizabethan style dress. The jacket is clearly too small and gapes at waist and centre front to reveal a linen shirt beneath. Trinculo's jester's outfit consists of a parti coloured tunic, with false, tassel trimmed over-sleeves, and matching tights. The pair are positioned in the centre of a fantastical island landscape.
