Waistcoat from court suit. Cream ribbed silk embroidered with coloured silk threads, coloured glass paillettes in green, yellow, blue, amber, metal sequins and coiled wire. It is embroidered with a border of stylised floral sprays at the closing edges, hem and pocket-flaps. The front is embroidered all over with a sprig pattern. It has eleven embroidered buttons, the uppermost of which is non-functioning.
It is lined throughout with fustian with panels of silk at the lower-front and closing edges. The back is of fustian and has two pairs of cotton tapes to adjust fit.
