The text of this emotive wartime propaganda poster seeks to recruit German civilians by emphasising the useful roles played by a diverse range of people in the war effort. Also, it tempts willing participants with food, lodging and pay during a time of extreme want. The Information Services who issued this poster also underscore the existing threat by vilifying their Eastern European enemies.
