| Physical description | Medal. Obverse: portrait bust of David Garrick, profile, facing viewer's right, with quotation above and maker's name below. Reverse: the masks of Comedy and Tragedy in profile; Comedy, facing viewer's left, with a trumpet through the eye hole, and Tragedy, facing viewer's right, with a sword through the eye hole. With a thistle between them at top and above it a crown, with an inscription giving the name and address of the issuer. Below the masks, two laurel branches, crossed. |
