Physical description
Engraving depicting the interior during a performance of the Royal Coburg Theatre, Surrey, 1819. It features a view of the interior of the theatre, seemingly during the course of a performance. Audience members are gathered in the boxes which line the curved walls and also on the benches in the stalls. The stage is also filled with actors, many of the holding up banners, and dressed in military costume.
