Drawing depicting John Liston (1776-1846) in the character of Moll Flaggon in the production The Lord of the Manor,1815. The image shows a country scene in which Liston appears dressed in a soldier's jacket, but with a woman's skirt. He is smoking a pipe and is dancing to music which is being played by two of the four soldiers who are positioned around him.
