Artist/Maker
Place of origin

George Lucas's six Star War films were released between 1977 and 2005. The first one, Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) became the most successful film in history and grossed over $290 million. It was not only the film that became a success but also the mechandising that was produced along side the film. The films captured the public's imagination and paved the way for the merchandising that accompanies many films today. A whole host of toy figures, spacecrafts and vehicles were available, as well as costumes, stationery, bedroom accessories and slippers.

This toy was made for the toy range produced for Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. On the packaging it states "General Grievous' Wheel Bike is a custom-designed mobile attack vehicle. He sits in the centre sphere, and the wheel revolves around him in driving mode. The four legs are used in walking mode and to climb vehicle surfaces, such as the sinkholes on Utapau where he battles Obi-Wan Kenobi on Boga."
