Set design for the 'Hall of the Gibichungs' in Wagner's opera Götterdämmerung. In the corners of the main illustration are four small scenes from Götterdämmerung including a scene from the Prelude with Siegried and Brünnhilde at the Valkyries Rock, Siegfried landing with the horse Grani in Act I, the river bank before the Hall of the Gibichungs in Act II and the Rhine Maidens in Act III. An illustrated article on 'The Utilisation of Wave Power' is printed on the reverse. Published in The Illustrated London News.
