Star Wars: A New Hope was released in 1977. The first film of George Lucas' trilogies was the most successful in American history and grossed over $290 million. Sequels released in 1980 and 1983 were equally successful. The films captured their imagination and paved the way for the merchandising that accompanies many films today. A whole host of toy figures, spacecrafts and toy guns were available, as well as costumes, stationery, bedroom accessories and slippers. This particular cutlery set was made after the 1999 film 'The Phantom Menace'.

Physical description | Boxed Star Wars spoon, fork and knife. The plastic handles to the cutlery are predominately blue and yellow. They show a character, Anakin Skywalker, dressed up in a grey outfit with a matching helmet and goggles. The box is mainly black and red with the words Star Wars printed across the top and the words spoon, fork & knife written along the bottom in white. The box has a clear plastic window to show the cutlery inside. |
