The print is a dramatic and graphic depiction of the Diamond Mountains as they meet the sea at the east coast of Korea. It is strongly directed, pushing downwards. The mountain rocks and sea waves are achieved by multiple repeated linear cuts. The seaside wildness of the area is vividly evoked. Pine trees are silhouetted against the mountainside. High in the empty sky , a few seabirds wheel around.
