Double sided newspaper page (pages 161 and 162) from The Illustrated London News dated 4th March 1843. Page 161 features an article on Geneva, the whereabouts of stolen bank notes and the Lady Mayoress. The main article is a review of a performance of Much Ado About Nothing led by the actor Mr Macready and is illustrated with a scene showing the characters Dogberry, Verges, Sexton and Prisoners and a separate portrait of Mr Macready as Benedick. Page 161 contains a range of adverts from book publications to adverts for rheumatism relief.
