Les Gants Trefousse, founded in 1892 by Jules Tefousse, was a glove manufacturer that originated in Chaumont, France and eventually sold their designs around the world. The donor of these gloves, Joseph Winton, was the former UK director for Les Gants Trefousse. These gloves date from his time with the company and represent the skilled craftsmanship, luxurious materials and fashion-conscious nature of the designs of Les Gants Trefousse.
