Place of origin |
The Greek temple front has come to indicate a place of worship. However, throughout the history of architecture, its characteristic features – a triangular pediment supported by columns – have been applied to all kinds of buildings. Here, on this sun-bleached patio, a free-standing mock temple front provides a focal point for the grouping of plastic tables and chairs in a holiday resort for worshippers of the sun.
