Rag doll made from felt and linen, representing David Lloyd George. The head is an inverted pear-shape with a linen back and a moulded felt face; the ears had been glued on but are now missing. The facial features are painted in black ink, the mouth is a line of pink paint. The hair and moustache are made from white knitting yarn, cut to length and sewn to the head in strips. The limbs and body are of linen, with the fingers and thumbs formed by rows of stitching. The feet consist of black linen 'uppers', black felt soles and white felt spats. The doll has a rather portly body with the clothing glued or sewn on. The clothing consists of a white felt shirt with wing collar, red felt bowtie, white felt waistcoat with painted-on buttons, black felt tailcoat, and grey felt trousers with turn-ups. The arms swivel at the shoulders.
