Small two cup teapot made of aluminium, with lid and black stained wood handle. Sides are decorated with relief showing the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge, and commemorative Festival of Britain emblem. Underneath, the teapot is marked with the Swan Brand logo.

Object history
The teapot was bought by the donor while on a school trip to the Festival. She chose the teapot as a present for her mother. The donor was fourteen years old at the time, and a student at Tolworth Girls School in Tolworth, Surrey.
