Object history
This jacket was associated with the trousers Misc.33-1990, which belonged to a little boy in the USA, George Moore. The trousers were evidently his very first pair after ceasing to wear dresses: a card found in the pocket was inscribed "First trowsers of Geo.F Moore 1854. His mother's first exploit!". It may be that the jacket was bought for him at the same time.
