Dolls' house model kit comprising box and wooden pieces which slot together to make the model.
Brown cardboard box lid and base; the lid has a printed coloured label showing the title, price '39/11' and an illustration of the made up model.
The house base is similar to a tray, with low wood sides and a hardboard base painted light turquoise. The base is divided into two compartments approximately 2/3 and 1/3 by a strip of wood. The 1/3 part is fully painted and the rest painted only around the edges.
The roof is formed of two parts joined by a strip of black tape; the outer sides are covered with paper printed in green and black to represent tiles and the inner sides are painted white. Each of the inner sides has two slats which fit the top edges of the outer walls (misc.765:5 to 6-1991)
Outer wall (misc.765:5-1991) is a rectangular shape leading to a pointed upper part which fits into the slats of the roof. The inner side is painted yellow and the outer side is covered with paper printed in red and white to represent brick. Inside is a slat to hold the inner wall.
Outer wall (misc.765:6-1991) is similar to misc.765:5-1991 with the exception that there is a rectangular section cut away in one corner, for the door, which was originally held in place by red tape. On the outer side of the wall is pasted a piece of hardboard painted black, yellow and white to represent a window with curtains.
The door is a rectangular block painted yellow on one side and pink on the other; it has a small nail as a handle.
Outer wall (misc.765:8-1991) is a rectangular block painted pink on the inner side; the outer side is covered with paper printed in red and white to represent brick. On the inside are two slats to fit the edges of the other outer walls and on the outside is a block of hardboard painted black, yellow and white to represent a window with curtains.
Outer wall (misc.765:9-1991) is similar to misc.765:8-1991 except one of the slats is detached.
Inner wall (misc.765:10-1991) is hardboard covered on both sides with paper printed in black, blue and green to show a checked and floral design.
