Dapple-grey rocking horse, carved and painted wood, mounted on a swing-rocker. The horse's body is carved and covered with gesso, then painted. It is mounted on a turned wooden frame with metal swings. There are the remains of a bridle an saddle, indicated by strips of leather on the head, parts of the tack around the neck and chest, and yellow woven ribbon edging the saddle. The tail and mane have been restored.
