Boxed kaleidoscope toy consisting of several parts:
1. Box, card, printed in colours to show the title, details about the toy and maker, with a photograph of a child using the toy.
2. A clear plastic bag containing parts to be assembled.
3, 4. Structural tube, red plastic with black lining; threaded at both ends.
5. Mirror tube, triangular shape slightly tapering with a round head at the top. When viewed through from the top, pictures appear with white dots; when viewed from the bottom, pictures appear to be diamonds with facets.
6. Experimental viewing head, a disc of clear plastic.
7. Assembled viewing head, a disc of clear plastic containing eight beads (two each of blue, red, yellow and green)
8. Viewing head housing, black plastic, threaded.
9. Lens, black plastic thread ring containing a lens.
10. Leaflet of instructions.
11. Plastic bag containing a sheet of double-sided mirror paper and four transparent coloured cellophane sheets (red, blue, green and yellow).
