Pencil Case

1900-1903 (made)

The pencil case is decorated with two bands of wavy lines and dots cut into the edged. Down the centre there are coloured transfers of the Royal Exchange and the Bank of England. On the underside of the case, purple writing says possibly the name and address of the donor, though the texture of the wood makes it difficult to identify. Rose Roger's address is also written at other points around the pencil case.
