Painted metal marionette puppet in the shape of a mule. It is jointed at the neck, legs and knees of the front legs. There is a short string tail. The colour is an overall white with black hooves and some black markings. The saddle and bridle are red with gold trim and rosettes. There are four control strings, one attached to the head, two to the body and one to the tail. Each end in a metal loop. Cast in eight pieces, each in two halves welded together, the pieces joined by steel pins at the base of neck, top of front and rear legs and middle of front and rear legs.
